The "Pissed Off " Thread

Follow up to last post. Two police officers came to see my Dad this morning. They told him they only visit people if they are elderly (I suspect at 87 they probably thought doddery too-but nope) and he also mentioned I had helped and advised him to hang up. They took details about me too!! Honestly it weren't me guvnor, I wasn't near the warehouse at the time! Anyway at least they came but they can't really do a lot about it. it probably frustrates them too.

Totally agree with Kels. In my youth I got into some shit with fruit machines and got myself into some bad debt. Back then it was easier to see the error of my ways and get myself sorted. Unfortunately today its a totally different scene.
It's so much easier to find yourself suffering the effects of gambling.
Companies try make gambling look glamorous and fun, but the harsh reality is a don't give a shit attitude when the financial worries make lives unbearable.
These adverts should be banned and better help should be provided for those vulnerable people in debt.

This scam's been going for years. They tried it with my father about 8 years ago. I used to hold his bank cards & details to stop him giving them out.
It was this type of scam that one of the babeshow girls had served time for before she appeared on a show.

Left knee completely f#cked.
Right calf f#cked as well.
Getting old .

Was already pissed off.
Even more pissed off now .

In the classroom board out my mind on day two of a 3 day health and safety course, so want to be anywhere else, plus I am having to get up at 630 in the morning which is killing me,

Lol that's no time to be getting up, I normally get out of bed about noon due to the hours I normally work, I am not sure I have seen this 5 am u speak off

Well it's light this time of year so it's not that bad; now if it was the depths of Winter at 5am, dark, dank, dismal and dreary you'd have cause to complain. I've been up various times especially during Commonwealth and Olympic Games, gong to sleep at 5am. Being a bit of a lark it is murder on my circadian rhythms but being woken by a bloody pigeon a few minutes later is not my idea of fun either-the vagaries of having an attic room! ?

Getting woken by the dawn chorus at this time of year is one thing, and I have every sympathy for those people who have suffered from this.

Getting woken up by a Pigeon is something totally different. Sorry Greeny but I couldn’t resist having a minor titter at that. I’ve now got visions of you going all Dick Dastardly singing ‘Stop the Pigeon’ with a malicious edge to it while clenching and unclenching your fists involuntarily

Just be glad the Pigeon doesn’t have a trumpet

I do a week of earlys where i get up around 5isham and a week later where i start at 12 so my body clock is out of whack most the time but even when its my lates i stil get up around 8ish 9 at a push as my body will not allow me to get up later
