Ah well you see snookered there's a simple answer to this dilemma.

If you do what I do, that is stamp up and down on your empty beer cans, and rip your cardboard into pieces, it'll fit in to a bin quite nicely.
The secret is to pretend that it is a person you despise.
I've compressed quite a lot of beer cans and ripped up a fair bit of cardboard whilst pretending it is Chris Evans's head I am stamping on, or whose throat I am throttling.

Not only will you compact a lot of rubbish, but you will feel healthier for it.
At first do it at night when the neighbours aren't looking, and then when you get braver and bolder, you can come out as an avid re-cycling nutter like me.

Van Helsing went after Dracula, Van Gerwen threw arras! Annoys me more when you throw a great shot and you end up with Robin Hood(one dart stuck in another)

I think perhaps you missed the subtlety of my remark..? The whole point is that helsing went after a blood sucker, hence why his darts are like a bloodbath..!
