It may be pointless to you only because you've missed the point. You can actually see more than usual on these curtain shows, I'd say that's the point of them.

If you can only see anything by paying for the perve cam then it's pointless showing it on the stream, I'd say.

The show I saw was nothing like a pervcam. Since I've only seen the one show it may not have been typical, but I suspect we're talking about two different things.

EXACTLY my point. Its nothing more than a cynical attempt to coax people into paying for perve cams.

The point being give us your cash and you can see a little more, or else you see nowt...i have 20/20 vision btw.

Another day, and another round of changes to their streams - Now we seem to have:

1920 x 1080 @ circa 3300 kbps (I'm estimating, as the variable bitrates jump around quite a bit)

1024 x 576 @ circa 800 kbps (")

720 x 404 @ circa 350 kbps

The latter, which was the resolution of the old, regular streams, looks particularly shit (unsurprisingly, with such a low bitrate)

Progress? I'm not so sure...

Hmmm, the overall image, even on the HD streams, looks quite noisy and soft, and I'm not sure if they're even as 'good' as before...

Still a work in progress, I wonder? I hope so, as things could certainly be better.

Perhaps this messing around explains the apparently poor(er) quality TV output, too?
