Seems Aaron Lennon has been detained under mental health act after he was found walking on dual carriageway. He is being treated for a stress related illness

That's some dent in Spurs' challenge that could see them drop out of the runners up spot if the other results don't go their way today

Spurs were never gonna win the despite there very good performance this season, Chelsea have been far better side and chances of dropping that amount for Spurs to catch ain't gonna happen. I could see them doing the double this season.

RE: Football Banter
After reading Andy Holt's (Accrington Stanley chairman) messages about the Premier League and their threats and the Pogba deal situation I'm rather inclined to agree with him if there is money floating down to League Two clubs it can't be as much as we'd like to think it is and when you consider how often players aren't paid in that division and how much of a book balancing act the n surely more needs to be released from the coffers .

As far the Pogba situation goes I was shocked to see how much that agent is set to pocket from that one deal it just goes to show how much control agents have over where players move etc.
I don't know what penalty Manchester United would face from FIFA once it completes it's investigation but I suspect it could be a points deduction or fine I doubt if FIFA would go for the extreme and order them to relegated two divisions or something but at the same time FIFA also has to show it is acting on behalf of clubs too they should be tackling the agents problem as well before they could possibly bring the whole transfer market system crashing down.

does this look a fairer way to run a penalty shootout?

The whole thing with agents needs to be looked at. There was a lot of funny going ons at rovers with agents fees

one case was rubin rochina who cost us 400k yet the agent got 1.65 Million SurprisedSurprised

Kean must have done some dodgy deals that the league haven't taken a serious look at before - no wonder the fans disliked him!!
Whether the current MU investigation might spark the league into looking into them remains to be seen - wouldn't be surprised if we (QPR) got caught up into anything te league does I have to admit that there probably were a few dodgy deals 'Arry did that have yet to come to light. Also IMO I would agree the whole thing with agent's needs to be looked and feel the issues that AS's chairman was referring to is a separate issue that needs to be addressed somehow

I understand that Wolves head coach Paul Lambert is on the brink of the sack due to a disagreement over transfer policy Rolleyes.
