Has some one pointed out, UK has sunk trillions into the EU and has fingers in many pies.

Part of me wants this Le Penn to win now to really fuck them over.

There was zero need to play dirty and zero need to have an imovable stance on freedom of movement which started all this in the first place.

The EU really has been it's own self serving enemy.

You do give the impression that the UK has totally funded the EU 100% and nobody else has ever paid anything

it was Nigel Farage who said you prob owe us money to the EU parlimant

No idea where you get that from, I've given no such impression. In fact, I've posted several links to who donates what and who receives most back, which isn't Britian.

It was something I read about the other week, UK has literally contributed trillions proping to the EU, does have fingers in lots of pies, that's just a fact (irrespective what other countries have done); and they are being obstinant and petty over this 50/60 billion.

Not to mention the Uk lost and entire empire and it's wealth defending Europe; what ever you think about that, Britian did do the right thing there.

And these people are boo hooing over this amount.

At the moment I do think they are sulking un greatful little cunts that haven't got their own way so they are having a tantrum about it.

If this WW3 does break out and the Russian tanks are on the EU boarder who do you think they'll be running to for help.

Uk intelligence foil a terroist attack in France then the next week they slap another demand for more money, it's a fucking disgrace.

You know what, if they keep goign down this route of demanding money out of the UK, the UK might find that the EU owes them a whole heap.

You see you need to bare in mind, that right at the start the EU tride to black mail the UK with threats about punishing the UK if it leaves.

Brexit could have easily have been smooth and easy for the UK, the only reason it isn't, is becasaue the EU want to make it worse for the UK out of the EU than in it, so no other EU country votes to leave.

The EU does not have to be like this, they are CHOOSING to be like this, and quite frankly, if they are being this petty over 50.60 billion, it makes me think they have not got a great deal to treaten the UK with.

Might just be worth pointing out to some people that if you sign a contract and then try to break it then in all walks of life there will be a price to pay. The UK signed up to the EU budget and agreed what we would pay. We are the ones breaking that contract so it's not unreasonable for a financial settlement to be required. Yes the amount may be subject to negotiation but the Brexiteers didn't mention any of this did they?

Yes the UK voted and signed up to the Common Market.
Wasn't it John Major who signed up to the EU.
Guess that he owes the EU a lot of money. He should have had a referendum.

And if we go even further back

I don't think we have ever got a big rebate back as we did from the Common Market/EU since Thatcher's days

Blair gave up 20% of the UK rebate in exchange for reform of the Common Agricultural Policy which never happened.
