Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde(1931)

Rouben Mamoulian's film boasts a nifty transformation sequence and an Academy Award winning performance from Fredric March in the title role.Both frightening and tragic.

Mr And Mrs Smith (1941) Robert Montgomery and Carole Lombard star as a couple who find out they aren't married due to a mix up in a rare Hitchcock comedy. A sometimes amusing, but rather implausible and dated film, enhanced by the leading actors, especially Lombard. This doesn't feels like a Hitch film with only the odd visual touch, supposedly it was his friend Lombard who persuaded him to direct it. Though not terrible, maybe Hitch's worse film. Also starring Gene Raymond & Jack Carson. 5.5/10

Death Line(1973)

Passengers on the London Underground are taken captive by a monster that dwells in the tunnels.The subject matter is of interest to both transport and the 1970s horror aficionados but this often mentioned film from Gary Sherman is quite slow and dull,despite being atmospheric and having good turns from Christopher Lee and Dinskd Pleasence,it's a victim of its slender plot.

Kong: Skull Island (2017)

Never been a King Kong guy, but given what this is buildig towards, I was kinda duty-bound to go, and I was glad I did. Throughly enjoyed it, the skullcrawlers weren't bad by Hollywood giant monster standards, and I guess they've worked out how to get around the size difference by the time he fights Godzilla (who is referenced without naming him, more than once). Nice tease for Godzilla: King of the Monsters in the post-credits scene, too.

It watched it on all old tape but its probably on YouTube.
