If the Lords block the Bill as they threaten to do so and send the Bill back to the Commons with amendments then surely that sets back the timetable to triggering Article 50

You're too soft laugh

If he's as successful in this as he was during the campaign, Brexit will probably happen twice as quickly bladewave

May be he sees a way to rescue his reputation by leading the flock back to safety of the EU.

May be he needs to keep his mouth shut and people might forget him.

It is a shame though people don't remeber he brokered the Good Friday agreement.

I also see you're polluting the us presidency thread with your unique brand of utter tosh. You really need to find a productive outlet to contribute back to society. You clearly have way too much 'free time' on your hands. Wink

Wait, what, what wait and wait again and what?

Apparently we are supose to know that you are talking about some election campaign babble in the referendum nearly a year ago by some bloke that went off the scene months ago? in a responce to the MSN link base on an article of finantial experts predictions?

That's the second time you stated I respond to post on the presedency thread as if it's a suprise, do you have memory problems?

My average tally of posts is an average of just a little over 2 post a day, since I sleep for around 6 - 7 hours that means an average of 2 post in 16 - 17 waking hour. Not exactly posting by the minute now is it? And most of those post are responding to asinine posts like yours.

Talking of time, you seem to have an awful lot of time to waste if you read all of my 'tosh', don't YOU have anything better to do?

The Gove point buys into the don't believe any experts (unless they agree with your point of view), post-truth era we are now living in. It was quite a notable moment in the campaign that many commentators across the political spectrum picked up on. It's staggering the number of points that sail way above your head! Your nonsense a while back about how high an IQ you claim to have is clearly within the realms of the post-truth, alternative facts era we now seems to be living through.Bounce

Most people believe what they want, including you, some of us though look at both sides of the coin.

I'm still trying to work out what all that has to do with the predictions of finantial experts.

I have no point of view for 2050. I'll be dead, or about to be.

The experts that you buy into stated that the UK would plunge into the abyss and caos, this did not happen, your experts were wrong.

Brexit could be bad for the UK, it could be very good, the signs thus far it's not has bad as people think (and still try and claim) it is or will be. It should be uncomfortable for a short term, this was accepted for everybody, but long term it could be fantastic.

It doe not however negate the fact that you cannot randomly say things that has nothing whatsoever to do with the post you are responding to and expect everybody to know what the hell it is you are on about.

What is this 'post truth' you are yammering about? Are you choosing to believe everything is a lie now?

Can you supply me with your evidence of my IQ? Can you give me actual data?

I do not work due to being long term sick, so 2 post a day on average is absolutely nothing considering the time I have to kill - I have the time to post a hell of a lot more.

By the way, your words such as tosh, nonsense etc, are becoming a little like a stuck record, can't you come up with something a little more original. It's starting to look like you have no point, other than tosh and nonsense?

You appear to be avoiding, it seems to be catching.

What has groves got to do with the predictions of the finantial institutions that are experts in their field? or are you choosing to ignore those particular experts because it doesn't fit your beliefs? Wouldn't this make you guilty of the very thing you are critisizing?

Why would you think that people would understand you randomly splurting out a name that has nothing remotely to do with the link that you was responding?
