The court case is just to trigger article 50, which is just the official trigger for leaving; what happens after is down to the negotiations. It came about because some remainers pointed out it wasn't legally binding (which everybody knew about at the time) and has stalled the process in hopes the referendum result will be over turned.

These judges have to decided whether to go with the absolute law or to honour the then present governments promise to abide by the publics decision. The government did indeed do this and are still trying to.

It wouldn't suprise me if they send it to parliament but you'd hope they would make the most sensible decision and get on with the inevitable.

More than likely they won't given their status and tie to EU. They don't give a damn about public decisions or feelings when they are handing out sentences to criminals

What they are opposed to is Italy using the EURO CURRENCY. They are not opposed to Italy being in the EU.

They have already pledged to hold an EU referendum if they gain power.
And as to whether the Italian people want to remain in the EU or not? Well that depends on which poll you would like to believe.

But there's a good reason Brussels were handing out free adult sized nappies in the days leading up to this constitutional referendum (all suitably within the EU regulations of course Rolleyes ) because it can be viewed as another middle finger in the face of establishment and a further nail in the EU coffin.

RE: Europe..IN or OUT??
I don't think the Italians really took to the Euro because the Lira was such a small denomination everything was valued in telephone numbers and they felt cheated somehow when they changed to the Euro.

I vaguely remember the Italian Government once trying to revalue the Lira, just for practical purposes, by knocking one of the spare 0's of the end of everything. But they had to back down in the end because the public wouldn't have it.

No they haven't. They have floated the idea of a referendum on the EURO CURRENCY, not on the EU.

Even the referendum on the EURO CURRENCY is not their party policy. It's a suggestion at this stage.

Would Five Star manage to win such a vote anyway, as opinion polls show that only 15% of Italians support a euro currency exit? Five Star leaders may also have recently noticed that risky referendums can be hazardous to the political careers of those who call them.

Yes you are correct.
I misread an article that crossed over from a Five Star Movement pledge (on leaving the Euro), over onto a Northern League pledge (on leaving the EU).
