Interesting piece on the Electoral College. Seems they could still, in theory, give the Presidency to someone else.
It won't happen of course, but the whole system seems a bit ridiculous Huh

I read a piece this morning talking about how social media is being used to spread false information. Seems there are claims that Trump actually received more public votes than Clinton and this is being heralded by Trump supporters. Problem is it's untrue!

Heard a good quote yesterday. "The US media took Trump's quotes literally but did not treat him seriously whereas the voters treated him seriously and did not take his quotes literally"

I'm surprised how quickly the American public has turned against Trump being president a week after voting him in!! But it probably would have to take a very good legal (& political) argument to actually force him out of office before he is sworn in!! I have yet to see any Senators come and say they don't back him!!

Half of those who voted, didn't vote for him. Many of those started protesting immediately. I would take with a pinch of salt any media stories about "the people" turning against him.
