I was watching some of Fox News last night (yes, it's biased, but makes a change from BBC bias etc) and they thought the Wall was a metaphor anyway. Funny that over here it was taken for "real".

this all really couldn't have gone better for him. the republicans are queuing up to suck him off and the democrats no longer have any power so can do nothing. and now he gets to play the roll of the great unifier, you know, like jesus!

somebody needs to get close to him, fight their way through that thing on his head that resembles a ginger windbush and check his scalp to make sure he hasn't got a 666 birthmark!

I agree & Fox News trying to claim the wall was a metaphor is ridiculous as he repeated it over & over again. Problem is he can't cut taxes & invest in infrastructure like the wall without a massive increase in national debt. I can see quite a few promises being called "metaphors"

Yeah they are - just like you are paying for my new garden wall

He plans to improve infrastructure and reduce taxes by using the reduced tax rate to entice the likes of Apple to return to America and in turn promote jobs. That's OK as long as the likes of Apple go for it. If they don't the world economy will be stuck in the toilet for a few more years.
