New £5 note

Anyone here got the new £5 note yet?

Do £5 notes still exist? I haven't seen one for years. These days I don't use cash much anyway, but when I do cash machines only give me £10 or £20 notes.

Reliable sources tell me that this is the new fifty to be released

Scotland has had them since last year.

Helpfully, self-service checkouts don't seem to accept them (IME).

Got a new one in my change today in a Scottish pub... should of asked her to change it.
No one in London or Brighton would accept any Scottish notes i had including the original version of the new notes that have been out for years in Scotland and Ireland

I'be had one it looks and feels odd kinda reminds of Monopoly money, guess it will take some time to get used too. I wonder if they'll be doing the same with the other notes.

had about 5 the other day and have to say i hate the damm things all the bits with the hologram and the plasticcy bits i understand but they are smaller than the older ones and like people have said its feels like toy money
