Bizarre scene today as the 1km arch collapsed on the road, knocking British rider Adam Yates off his bike and causing a pile-up behind.

RE: Tour de France
apparently generator that helps the 1km stay up failed.

Peleton give time 40 secs better than their finish time.

Adam Yates given time 7 secs better than peleton as that is what he was in front of Peleton at time of incident which takes him 2nd overall in GC and into white jersey for best young rider by 1 sec

That's bollox, frankly.

Cavendish has 27 TDF stage wins.
Merckx has 34 TDF stage wins.

Whether the stage is a time trial, mountain stage, team time trial, is of no relevance.

Cavendish isn't fit to be mentioned in the same context as Merckx.
Merckx is God.

Froome won the last stage to take the yellow jersey.

But he's had to apologise after jabbing a spectator's face. The had got too close to Froome during the stage.

He should be praised for teaching the idiot fan a lesson -seems he had a flag which was near Froome's wheel.

No should be giving him the elbow in front of the cameras.

Should have given him a kick up the pants out of the view of the TV motorbike.
