Get the feeling we had a better plan for end of Libya conflict than we did for this eventuallity Wink

Isn't the leave plan fairly obvious?

I was watching the american finance experts all day friday for an impartial objective view.

Of course there was a crash, it was more to do with the unexpected shock of the result and the uncertianty, they then said quite clearly for people not to panic, not to sell their stock that the dow jones had been lower and the markets would recover.

Regarding the pound, it is low but it will recover, it's not the lowest it's ever been, but one of the sides of that and the markets being low, that there was a move to INVEST in UK stocks becasue they where low, and great for american tourist, thus putting money into britian.

In short they said not to worry too much about it, they were much more concerned with the ripple effect.

The biggest point was that the markets were still trading, a lot were down, but a lot (especially gold) were up.

In short, the UK leaving in the long term wouldn't cause to much trouble once everybody stops paniking and calm down, it would be a problem if all the other countries followed suit. This of course could make the rest of the EU to be more tough on britian than it really needs to to prevent others from coming out.

Wackawoo I think in a previous post you said you were watching Fox News on Friday. Forgive me but impartial is not a word they understand as they are owned by Murdoch who is a raging Brexiteer.

Isn't the leave plan fairly obvious? Whoever the next pm is, the have to invoke that article and then the negotiations start.

They'll probably ask Santa to handle the negotiations for them by the time they start anything!!

I can see why some people have given up trying to have a serious discussion with you, given that you like twist what has been said, or simply ignore it altogether... shocked

But, I'll say one final thing, if there was not, as you claim, an overwhelming vote in Scotland to stay in the EU, at 62-38, what would you call the 52-48 that is going to take the UK out of the EU? Huh

BounceBounceBounce

Why are you joining the rude club? despite the abuse I get on here, I am very rarely rude about people or their post.

What exactly is it that i have twisted? You said were's the loop hole, i answered your question bladewave

This is what i said

Quote:It wasn't like it was an overwhelming stay in either Scotland or NI, there was a lot of out votes too (wales going the way of England), the vote for devolution when push comes to shove might be a lot closer.

Now I know I am dyslexic, but help me out here

I'd call 52-48 very close this is why I rasie the question whether it was too close to take the UK out of the EU Huh

Quote:These referendums, are they just what the people want? There's what only 3% more in favour to leave, now Cameroon has gone can these be ignored and UK remain in EU claiming there's no massive and clear majority?
