Now there's irony.

And yet, I have not seen a single post of yours remotely convincing me that being in europe is a much better thing for the UK than being out.

I have provided link after link after link on this thread in support of what I claim, in addition I have read and responded to all the propaganda that says europe is the be all and end all and if the UK wasn't in it would be the end of the UK as we know it. I have ask several, what seem to me fundamental simple questions, all the pro people on here have done is brush aside and ignore and trot out the same already challanged propaganda.

Even ministers in government think it's a good thing for UK to leave, along with many other polititians, so no, it's not the obviously simple solution you seem to think it is. It's an extremely devisive thing, at least some of us have tried to asses it from both sides and not just assume certitude over a very divisive issue.

From my own research, and I'll keep saying it, the only reason the UK would be worse of is if the rest of Europe would be awkward over trade deals; and it's no coincident that is the threat from Obama.

It's the pro people who need to take the rose tinted off, and talk about running your own country down, Britian couldn't possibly manage with out the rest of Europe?

You need to realise I am nearly 50, I have been in europe nearly all of my life, I don't remember the world when I wasn't in it, it has not been something that I have given any thought to or it overly trouble me either, until had to look into it recently.

And remember, people said it would be the end of Britian as we know it if she didn't join the single currency and adopted the Euro; turned out it was the single best decision the UK made in a very long time to retain her own currency.

The majority of Cabinet ministers think it's a good thing for UK to remain, though.

Which means some don't, others may just be towing the offcial line, normally if the PM wants something, the rest have to agree.

Yes, but more people in the Cabinet believe in Remain than don't. And if you're only willing to believe that they're doing so because of sucking up to the PM, you've a very poor view of humanity.
