You have to wonder about the mindset there too. They've been losing for so long that it's become a routine. They need a total clear-out of players or they're falling straight through the Championship into League One this time next year. They look to have some decent football people on the board now with Bernstein and Little, but they now need the right manager who will insist on massive changes in the playing personnel. If they don't get them, the third tier of the pyramid awaits in 2017.

Thing is though Lerner did provide funds if u remember for there push for the top 4 and them uefa cup spots, i guess u can't just keep plowing the same amounts because that's not prudent. Think there's other alternatives out there to Mourinho who would just bitch and moan and suffer meltdown when it goes wrong like at Chelsea. The current Dortmund manager is doing well, simeone, allegri. All would do a good job for united
