Sophia & s66 will know how many calls she usually gets when she gets on s66 nights via their phone system and therefore will know if Sophia's freeview stats will be higher or lower than her sky stats.

There will be a different phone number on freeview than on the sky graphics, so their call stats switchboard will know exactly how many calls are coming from each.

...As for the cougars thing, 66 may well be looking at the kind of data below (this illustration published only very recently by BARB) that shows that the proportion of older viewers is larger in terrestrial only homes:



The numbers of viewers pulled across to their website should also be expected to be less than come from Sky and elsewhere as less terrestrial only viewers have broadband in their homes:

The flaw in your reasoning is thinking that 'older viewers' are more likely to call Cougars, which I doubt is the case.

I believe those 40+ shows have always appealed mainly to young blokes who have fantasies about older women.

It's 11.30 not seen any boobs yet what's going on we having a extended day show

Really? I can see they might appeal to some younger guys in that way but are you really saying that you think cougars gets more callers from younger guys than it does from older ones?
