Has Sting actually retired?

As far as I know mate,its official.Sting has finally retired due to injuries to his neck.

I wonder if MacMahon will negotiate some kind of deal with Hulk Hogan now that he's won $115,000,000 in damages over the sex tape scandal?

It's overshadowed the racial scandal that Hogan was involved in and it seems Hogan could receive even more compensation in punitive damages next week.Vince loves it when a wrestler triumphs in any situation over the nasty media that are out to make pro wresting look bad.

It was disappointing to hear about stings retirement. I still felt he had one more in him prior to the injury and possibly having the dream match against the undertaker wouldnt of been a classic but a hell of a dream spectacle, glad he managed to achieve and finally get his match last year though, good closure on a legendary career.

If's such s shame I know Sting had always said that he had one more match left in him, then I guess it would have had to have been against the Undertaker surely. And his rivalry with Angle is the stuff of Legends.

As great as Sting was I always felt it was a shame that,in his prime(1987-1996) he hadn't evolved into the total package that a main eventer should be,despite his athletic ability and boundless enthusiasm in the ring his mic skills left a lot to be desired until he arrived in TNA.That and the crappy opponents he was pitted against made his first few title reigns box office failures.The Crow Sting was his most successful run in terms of pay per view buy rates,I wish he could have joined the WWF in 2001 and worked with Stone Cold,they always had great matches back in WCW when Austin wrestled as Stunning Steve.At 56 though he can retire with total financial security and be proud of his career.

I would love to have seen a triple threat match at WM between the taker, angle and sting.

It would be great if wwe keep both bryan and sting in some capacity helping the younger and new talent to come through or be involved with a non wrestling storyline like creating factions of nxt wrestlers when they move onto the main roster.

Which finisher/submission hold would you fear most guys?

I would favour as a finisher the Tombstone Piledriver and submission the Scorpion Deathlock

I used to think the Tombstone was the deadliest, and it is still one of the most devastating finishers ever, but the Styles Clash looks just as frightening. So tough to call between those two.

For a submission hold, the Crippler Crossface was definitely brutal. I'm talking about when Chris Benoit used it, not the goofy STF version that Cena does.

Back in the attitude era me and my mates would do wrestling moves on each other, for me the pedigree and the chokeslam were the most painful, the least painful finishers were the figure four leg lock and walls of Jericho i never tapped out
