The Empire strikes back - 1980, directed by Irvin Kershner, with (principal actor) Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, Billy Dee-Williams, Alec Guinness

15/10 Big Grin

my favourite movie of the saga

(real rating is 8,5 though Big Grin )

year after year after year, I keep reading that the shows were better "in the past"... maybe they were never that great (except in the pioneering era)?

Predator 2(1990)

Really underrated sequel in my opinion.

Fantastic action, suspense, violence and gore backed up with a classic creature created by the late, great Stan Winston.

HOW YOU DARE? SmileWink
hehe well to be honest I couldn't tell you, maybe because it's a crucial episode of the whole saga , for various reasons. Plus, Darth Vader was at the apogee of his badassness in this movie Big Grin (is badassness an acceptable term? :huhSmile
btw
I spent my Sunday morning watching Eyes Wide Shut- 1999, directed By Stanley Kubrick, with (principal actors) Tom Cruise, Nicola Kidman, Sydney Pollack

8-8,5/10
Kubrick's last film. Twisted , complex, with an allegorical meaning- the typical product of this maestro, one of the brightest minds in the history of cinema

year after year after year, I keep reading that the shows were better "in the past"... maybe they were never that great (except in the pioneering era)?
