Elite TV / Studio 66 - General Chat & Discussion

^ I predicted last week that the shows will soon be the same over the whole 24 hour period.

The cams/pervecams will see to this. It double-monetises. Essentially you will need to pay for a pervecam feed to see what you do on the TV feed for free presently.

So callers will need to pay for the call and the pervecam simultaneously. £££££ for s66

^ A year ago I would have said not a cat in hells chance. With the recent changes however, you might be right.

^For me it's the fact that for a long time the demarcation point between day & night shows has always been 10pm. Now S66 are blurring those boundaries and it doesn't rest easy with me.

Quite agree,we have little enough nightshow content from S66 as it is and this latest trend towards daybabes on nights does seem odd,but then their dayshow rosta has been bigger than the current proper nightshow one for quite some time,in summary S66s nightshows have not been consistently good for ages,but as long as calls keep coming in i suspect due to the apparent inability to find and manage their nightshow babes the amount of actual PROPER nightshow will continue to shrink.

I noticed this week that the price to call via pc had risen from 15 credits a minute to 20 credits(£1.50 - £2.00 in monetary terms).They must be raking it in. Pervecam is anything from 20 - 30 credits a minute as well,and it seems some girls are very popular,so will have multiple viewers.The owners of Studio 66 must be rolling in it.Out of interest,I wonder if the girls are on a percentage,or flat wage?

And I also seem to recall someone saying that when a girl is tipped,they only get 50% of that as well.Seems harsh that.If someone tips,they aren`t tipping the Studio.I think the girl should keep all of the tips!

The daytime roster is growing every week with more and more daytime xtra shows occurring.

The signs are there, it looks like they are experimenting and focusing on what works for them instead of trying to revive their night shows. Its largely accepted here that the other channels are doing much better night shows so maybe they've accepted that too and are going for something different?

....just like restaurant staff!!! They get shafted too.

Saw someone tip Abbi big yesterday(over 1000 credits) hardly seems fair that she will only see half of that.Guess thats the way it is.I myself think a 70/30 or 65/35 split,in favour of the girl seems fairer.Or am I just being silly?

They could be turned into that already. If that's what they wanted to do.

"Consumer resistance". 66 might quite like the thought of full time tease line-ups, but I think the know they require some form of night show in order to be seen as legitimate by their customers.

A bit like how some pubs might like the thought of becoming legit restaurants but know they would lose something if they abandoned the beer altogether.

Edited to add: AFAIK only the big names get 50% of web credits and tips. The more usual rate is between 20% and 30% I think - especially with these newcomers. 66 have to subsidise the big standard TV appearance fee earners some how!
