Platini is to relax FFP rules from next season

There are about 30 legal challenges to FFP, but I think what UEFA have finally realised is that it's bad for competitiveness. With FFP the rich stay rich and the poor stay poor, and that's not great for the sport. Barcelona or Real Madrid have won 10 of the last 11 Liga titles. Bayern 3 straight in Germany, Juventus 4 straight in Serie A, PSG 3 straight in France. Benfica or Porto have won 13 straight in Portugal, Olympiacos 10 of 11 in Greece. In the Champions League Bayern and Real Madrid reached 5 consecutive semifinals and Barcelona made it 4 times in the past 5 seasons. Fact is that nobody can challenge these big clubs without investment and under FFP you're not allowed to invest.

so after Sunderland draw tonight it is a straight fight between Hull & Newcastle to decide who joins Burnley and QPR in Championship next season

Yeah FFP could have cost us this season we had transfer embargo in Jan where we could have strengthened we were running out of Defenders at the end

Dont know why but got a feeling Hull might do it United not really the force away from home.

^If anything it comes down to what tactics that both Big Sam and LVG adopt respectively.
And if Newcastle do go down I don't think Mike Ashley will bat an eyelid. And I would suggest that their parachutes payments should
be given on the proviso tat it is spent on strengthening the team rather than sitting in Mike Ashley's bank account. I wonder how many will go to Newcastle's home games next season if they do get relegated?
And as a fun after - thought which premier League manager would be best suited to running which channel guys?

As a non-Sky viewer, I would have to match Arsene Wenger to Storm, because if you asked me what happened on it, I would always say I couldn't see it.

Manuel Pellegrini can have Babestation, as he's had success with 4-4-2's, so setting up a 2-4-1 should be simple in comparison.

Mourinho for S66, as he takes a dim view of 'voyeurs' - you better pick up that phone and get involved, or you'll never hear the end of it.

Claudio Ranieri for Sin TV, the Tinkerman will try a different system every night, so you'll never be too sure what to expect.

Will be interesting to see if Reading benefit from having this much time off in Cup Final. Obviously as Arsenal fan I hope they don't

Aston Villa are in the cup final, not Reading.
