I can type, I just can't think properly ha ha. It's all technical and my malbec/oily lacey combo has made it hard to think about the right words. The delay is because the doofer that sends the web stream and the doofer that fires over to the satelite dish in the sky take two different amounts of time. I'm the most helpful techie out there, right?

The delay varies. It will always vary to my knowledge and as far as I know is beyond our control. All channels have delays. Even Live News isn't actually really live. I think the smallest delay I have ever noticed was 7 seconds.

Both are circumstantial. Fibreoptic broadband users may have a shorter delay than the average sky user, but viewers relying on say 4G will have a longer delay.
