I'm stumped with it myself, i can't think of a theory that makes any sense .
It's nothing to do with Sky themselves, that's for sure .
If it's Ofcom related then why does the web stream show the tamer BS1 Sky content and not the freeview feed ?, also if it's Ofcom related then why are Ofcom targeting the Sky broadcast and not freeview ?, until recently the Sky feed and the freeview feed has been generally the same, so if Ofcom are targeting Sky BS1 then why are they not targeting freeview BS1 ? .
Ps, i'm not saying Ofcom aren't involved, but i just can't understand why they should go after the Sky broadcast and not freeview .
Nothing makes any sense to me .

Let's face it SKY show more interest in trying to take football off terrestrial TV so surely middle aged intellectuals care more about that than the babe channels, i'll pity the day when all the 900 channels are protected by a pin in one go, if it hasn't been done already.

It's got nothing to do with SKY, they do don't regulate the channels Ofcom do, I'm sure someone else has already stated this. BS 1 has gone back over on SKY yet on freeview they seem to be getting shows that SKY had previously. Now if BS1 still has a NICAM licence, then there is sod all Ofcom can do about the output and NICAM will not do anything aslong as it is in their acceptance level for viewing. It does make me wonder why they no longer promote the hell out of BSX on BS1 when under that licence they can do so!

Do they get more freeview callers than they do on SKY! If they were not then maybe by putting the better shows on freeview they hope to use it as a marketing ploy!

Until someone from BS say's something then all we can do is guess and as a SKY viewer say how poor their shows have become.

Whoever is screwing up this once glorious channel,better act fast before it loses its remaining viewers....one day you won't see girls with nothing on... you will just see nothing on :-(
