Actually that part makes it quite likely because currently the channel could be considered as somewhat wasted during the evening with the BS blue simulcast. So Asia connections during the day and ETV on the evening would fit for them.
The only piece that really doesn't add up is the 'New' part. But isn't it Babestation that's referring to it as new on their behalf? So technically that makes it true, from their angle anyway.
Huge coincidence here for it to not be ETV, but I'm sure we'll find out soon enough.
I believe ETV was previously aired on 913 and not 945 so there's another angle too.

RE: New channel launch
Hi guys, first of all excuse me for my english, i'm an italian fan of ETV or better, former fan of eUrotic TV.
I just can tell you that, if it will be ETV the new sky channel, their TV shows are dying.
Their target is to add audience for their web-site where you have to pay for everything, like "exlusive show", "premium show" and so on (that till now are nothing more than old tv shows)
They usually use different names but the contents are the same, NOTHING!
The differences are about the prices, the duration, and the way to ask.
Premium, (or daily premium) are show without any interaction, just a girl or more than one acting in the studio (usually dark and with bad camerawork) with a sort of artistic base or something like this, premium shows are normally their hottest show (absolutely not comparable with any other site)
Exlusive is just a few minute shows (about 5) based on viewers requests during TV show that are becoming just an advise-window, an exposition of their girls.
Who sends the request (4 credits) can watch the show on the site for free (they refound the credit paid to watch) and everyone who wants can pay 1 credit to watch this exclusive.

To conclude, unfortunatly TV is nothing else than a bait for payment shows on the site. That's for now, any improvement are welcomed but honestly i think it's really hard to have something like their "golden age"

I'm not a member of ETV staff, i just like this channel!

You're probably right. I assume Babestation are doing the branding, and from the delay in launching it seems that they aren't quite ready yet.

this is also the reason for some changes that will be made in our TV shows in order to meet Ofcom's (UK media regulator) rules and regulations.

No. All the babe shows broadcast on Sky have to comply with Ofcom regulations, so this is no different to any other channel.

Babe channels or regular tv channels that broadcast on Sky and also freeview don't have to fully comply with Ofcom regulations if they don't have a Ofcom licence .
BS1 on Sky Ch 906 and the BS freeview channels 172, 173, 174 all have a Dutch license and are regulated by the Dutch regulator NICAM and not Ofcom, this is why BS can start broadcasting from 10pm on freeview, 2 hours before Ofcom rules allow adult chat babe channels they regulate to start broadcasting on freeview.
This Dutch license is why they can show girls on Sky ch 906 simulating sex acts, ie having a orgasm and rubbing their pussy's etc, this wouldn't be allowed under Ofcom rules, sadly Sky Ch 945 currently called "Babes From TV" has a Ofcom license .

Life is short . Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that made you smile .

With the greatest of respect I find your comment to be quite ignorant, we in the UK may be accustomed to the draconian ofcom rules but bearing in mind those on the continent are not then this is a huge bitter pill for them to swallow.

A few years ago when Eurotic TV started their first trial on UK SKY a lot of Europeans were up in arms, a lot of them had never even heard of ofcom. However what makes this all hypocritical is that if Eurotic TV can already be picked up in the UK prior to broadcasting on the Astra 2 satellite then whats the difference.

In the UK and where I stay in Scotland I can get a strong signal to all the Hotbird and Astra Satellites as they are all covered in the European footprint. If the babe channels were smart they could actually challenge ofcom on this point.

With the SKY Merger that took place back in July what's to stop all the SKY's broadcasting under the same satellite in the not to near distant future just like they used to do in the pre digital era in which we'll have access to all the hardcore porn channels aswell, what will ofcom do then I wonder.

Excellent point here, I think it would be more fair if countries in the EU were not allowed to regulate TV but instead should be one EU regulator, unlike most people I believe the EU should have more power over things each country should act like a state of the EU, kind of like 'The United States of Europe', I know this would never happen but its interesting to think about.

Unfortunately this would be unlikely to happen as all customers have dishes fixed to one point in the UK, Italy and Germany. Also I dont think there would be enough space in one orbital position to serve all 3 countries from one country anyway. What would be interesting is if a non UK satellite platform would market to the UK but be based elsewhere in the EU whilst using satellites positioned at 19.2 E or 13 E. The people in the UK using that service would theoretically be able to view the channels that you speak of and ofcom couldn't do anything, again this would never happen because of sky's dominance but is interesting to think about.

Also another stupid thing about the UK is why should everybody be forced to pay for BBC even if they don't use it, in the US they have much better FTA channels like CBS, NBC and FOX who produce much better output compared to the BBC. Its not as if BBC produces good content anyway I rarely watch it and find myself watching quality channels such as Sky1, Comedy Central, FOX, E4 and Sky News.

How does that affect Paul1982 though? He isn't on the continent.
