Here's another one...

Take Leigh Darby, Lucy Summers and Yasmine James (before she was pregnant)...

They were doing AT LEAST one night a week, on average, for, say, 40 weeks of the year. That would suggest annual earnings of £80k.

And then they decide to 'top it up' by doing some porn or a bit of escorting on the side!?

That just can't be right.

I thought the average shift payment was a middle hundreds figure myself (£400 - £600 say) but I can't remember where I heard or saw that or if that was days or nights. Might have been a little while ago too.

There is more coming in than just call fees remember though. Texts, pics, vids, website fees, cam fees, etc.

On s66 cam, the 'name' girls get on average a 50-50 split between girl and the channel I've heard a couple say. That's credit fees and tips - both split.

The idea that the babeshows "are not that deep" is driven by those that don't wish to acknowledge how much effective customer service and a consideration of psychology impacts users' future interactions.

Well, at that level, the numbers do start to make more sense.

True, but by the same token, there are more costs to the channel than just the models. Rent, production staff, license fees, marketing, etc.. So I think Circles_0_0_0's point still applies. If the girls were earning £2k a shift from a £1.50 call charge, I don't see how the channel could be solvent. It must be much closer to the mid-hundreds that you suggest.

Incidentally, I just googled around to see if any of the girls posted their modeling fees to get a sense of what the going rate is. What I found was the 2010 Daily Mail article about Lori Buckby's fine for Benefits Fraud. The article -- which must have quoted court documents -- said that she was earning £4,000 per month as a babeshow presenter. She may not have been as ubiquitous then as she is now, but she was still probably averaging 2 or 3 shifts per week. That would suggest about £350-£500 per shift. That sounds a LOT more reasonable.

An Esquire article from one year ago about Babestation :

http://www.esquire.co.uk/culture/feature...bestation/

Quote:Justin Lynch tells me that the models make good money here – anywhere, he claims, from £4,000 to £10,000 a month; one reason Lacey now considers herself so lucky.

1 Day shift @ Babestation - £250 (before tax), Babestation Unleashed approx. £350 a shift. Would assume that it's similar for the other channels. Might not be as much as people expect but if they do 6 shifts a month, that's more money than I make (for half the hours). (Not that I'm essentially moaning).

I wasn't sure if they still did connection fees? I couldn't find a reference to them on the s66 website.

As has been commented on her thread, this would explain Cara B's alleged sharp practice of dropping callers after a couple of minutes a time on her night sessions. You can imagine she would be under pressure to do that if she is on an expectational rate.

Such a rate also explains the extra latitude she seems to be getting with 'the rules' on those sessions at the moment. (Should say that quietly I suppose!) They need to make the absolute most of her time on there.

The idea that the babeshows "are not that deep" is driven by those that don't wish to acknowledge how much effective customer service and a consideration of psychology impacts users' future interactions.

RE: Elite TV/Studio 66 - General Chat & Discussion
This is an interesting tangent.

On balance, between ShandyHand's unattributed hearsay, the Lori Buckby article, the Esquire article and Fan of Camilla's stats (source?), it feels to me like a reasonable stab at an estimated average is somewhere in the mid-to-high hundreds for a nightshow and considerably less for a dayshow. That also rings true from the kind of "lifestyle" that they project through their other activities, social media, etc...

I also understand RatedR's tease show argument, but that depends on scarcity and 'pent up' demand. If Cara Steele, Caitlyn Winters or Scarlet Bouvier, for example, announced that they were doing a one-off tease hour, I can see how the lines would be jammed with their day show fans keen to speak to them in night show hours. And if there is a performance-based element to the remuneration, then you could imagine them making good money from a two hour show with or without nudity. If they started to do weekly shows, however, I'm sure that the money wouldn't be nearly as good, as the 'novelty' factor would soon wear off or the 'must-call-now-or-I-might-never-get-a-chance' sense of urgency wouldn't be there. So there is a limit to how much they can exploit the scarcity of a dayshow girl on nightshow hours. Which must be good news to anyone who fears that extended day shows will ultimately take over the night time schedule. I think there is a 'sweet spot' where the tease show economics work, but it would ultimately backfire if they tried to overdo it.

So while I can see how it is possible for a girl to earn £2,000 on any particular shift -- especially if it is seen as something of an "event" -- I don't think that it is possible for any girl to earn that kind of money on a sustained basis.

RE: Elite TV/Studio 66 - General Chat & Discussion
i can see some are finding it hard to believe but the 2k figure is right for an established main night girl, girls who are up and coming are not on that yet but will get there if there stats get there, most day girls are on less than 1k,
the bs figure quoted is the starting amount, names on that channel are on a lot more than that,
also it's worth remembering some girls are working for nothing or just travel costs as some channels now don't start paying a girl until she has proved she can get her stats, they look at it as giving the girl a chance to earn a lot in the future,
it's the closest the channels get to an incentive as they can say to girl x on a trial shift who got on £50 petrol money look at girl y over on the next bed she is the number one on the channel on over 10k a month that could be you if you are good at this,

what you need to remember 5 years ago Lori had not long moved from days to nights and was an up and comer so 1k mid range pay sounds right since then she has moved a few times to improve her pay and she said her self that her last move to bs was for crazy money, rumored to make her one of the best payed babeshow girls ever

I wouldn't assume that money for the girls has gone up. Those figures are likely pre-recession and there was at least one recent exodus of girls from a channel for wage reduction reasons (Caty to BS if I recall). Not sure you could even assume there wages have gone up in line with inflation as I suspect both webcams and people with less money in their pockets has all impacted the earnings of the ladies.

As some have said, the cost of the girls wages would be a small part of the studio running costs (producers, comms, infrastructure costs, etc, etc) so 2K per night for a standard girl would likely be financial suicide.

And I suspect if I were doing 2K per day I wouldn't need to demean myself with a wishlistlaugh
