RE: Formula 1
The Caterham situation makes me wonder what the FIA can do to support the smaller teams especially with the US Grand Prix possibly having only 18 competing

maybe a certain octogenarian could put his hand into those very large pockets and put something BACK into the sport that has made him one of the richest men in britain, instead of rubbishing the minnows DO something to keep the sport alive and healthy,f1 NEEDS these minnow teams to survive, they are a stepping stone for lots of up and coming talent, remember an awful lot of the sports BIG names started their careers with these so called diddy teams,we,the fans dont want less teams,or 3 car teams,we want to see formula one,the finest racing series on the planet to go from strength to strength, and that means helping these small teams not only to survive, but to prosper and if that means a bit less for ferrarri and red bull etc then so be it ,they can afford to take the hit TongueTongueTongue

Joking I take it though I agree with your sentiment. He is the epitome of greed and corruption. Years ago he was the saviour of F1 and turned it into a world wide spectacular, but as they say power always corrupts. No one ever seems to notice how popular race tracks have disappeared off the circuit because they refused to dance to his tune or simply couldn't afford to and are being replaced by nations with questionable rights that have excessive amounts of money to burn. Russia, China, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, oh and possibly Vegas, home of the mafia... It's no coincidence he is the spitting image of the emperor from Starwars Wink

RE: Formula 1
The remaining teams are qualifying for the US Grand Prix

Annoying that Sebabstian Vettel is going to start the GP from the pit lane and will only do one run during qualifying.

Rosberg finished qualifying on pole.

RE: Formula 1
Hamilton wins, Rosberg 2nd.

The result extends Hamilton's lead over Rosberg to 24 points with 75 available in the two remaining races.

Not a bad race, it had it's moments anyway Smile

With that win Hamilton now has 32 under his belt, and takes Mansel's crown as the British record holder for number of GP wins.

RE: Formula 1
The following scenario could still happen.

Brazil: Hamilton wins and gets 25 points while Rosberg retires and gets 0. Hamilton would lead the drivers championship by 49 points.

Abu Dhabi: Rosberg wins and gets 50 points as its a double points race while Hamilton retires and gets 0.

Result: Rosberg wins title by 1 point
