According to reports, Liverpool will not be signing anyone in January to shore up the defence. In other words, the owners don't trust Rodgers to spend their money wisely after wasting the money from the sale of Suarez. He sent Andre Wisdom out on loan to WBA to gain experience yet he signed a twenty year old right back, Manquillo, who has had plenty of game time. It doesn't make sense.

Got to say im getting tired of rodgers agreeing when people say poor defening cost us, yea we must improve, it's not been good enough this season, wake up man the defence been awful since you've come to liverpool and you don't seem to have the answers to improving it, still think alex song for gerrard would have been a good move

Neither does it make sense Spending 16m on Balotelli a player who does not fit into the way Liverpool play at all then using him as a scapegoat for poor performances...

Is it Balotelli's fault that we can't defend? did Balotelli spend 100+ million in the summer? Balotelli has come out and said weeks ago he plays a lot better with a supporting striker as a pair but Rodgers as the stubborn manager he is just won't learn... how many games will he insist on playing Balotelli upfront on his own? Why not pair him with Borini, another 11m striker Rodgers brought to the club?..
Our transfer policy is ridiculous under Rodgers....

We could have had Alonso back on a free, aswell as Valdes and then use players we already have who have experience playing with our team through the levels such as Suso, Ibe, Teixera, Illori to make up squad numbers instead of wasting so much money on buying players like Lallana, Markovic, Can who are no better. We then could have instead spent that money (Loveren 20m Lallana 25m Markovic 25m) Roughly 70m, on 3 or 4 proven players to go straight into the first team, 4 i can think of who would be realistic are Lavezzi, Tevez, Khedira, Pedro....


As for the defence he needs to bring in a new defensive coach or something because it has got worse... What has happened to Thiago Ilori? why not give him a go in the team? he hasn't even played and we have had him 2 years, what was the point in buying Lovren for 20m? he is no better than Toure or Daniel Agger...

I have lost all faith in Rodgers, i think he is a phoney with bad man management, he just say's what the media wants to hear.. perhaps he should put more time in looking into his joke of a defence & GK and have a strong word with them instead of worrying about Balotelli swapping his shirt at half time...

It was Suarez & Sturrridge's goals that got us CL football last year, not Rodgers, he has nowhere to hide now..

How is that good? He has proven himself as a world class Keeper with bags of experience and World Cup CL medals? Mignolet has shown how terrible he is.. constant mistakes, scared, no communication, nervous.. he is a liability... Bringing him in on a free to get Mignolet to book his ideas up and give some decent competition is a no brainer...

You need to open your eyes and see that Liverpool are in a shambles at the minute, the way you always defend the club is beyond stupid..

Only thing Balotelli was... A panic buy!
