I always classed it as horwich

Leeds United - Thorpe Arch ,Wetherby (20 milesish)
is another .
I was thinking more in terms of the actual playing stadium location to the Town /City /Borough they represent .

Half of Chester Citys'ground is in Wales ,the others in England !
Liverpool and Everton are seperated by a few hundred yards ,but they're both in different districts of Liverpool .

OK here's one for you. Qarabag Agdam of the Azerbaijan league play home matches in Baku, which is 140 miles away from Agdam. Their original stadium was destroyed during war between Azerbaijan and Armenia, so they now use the national stadium as their home ground.
