Lallana is a £15m player at best..

I have seen loads of Markovic Last season in the Portuguese liga Sagres and he scored only 5 league goals for Benfica against lower level teams, he's no better than Assaidi..

Lovren and Sakho have been shit together, Sakho & Lovren have been the main reason for us letting in stupid goals with their pathetic mistakes..

Gerrard isn't fatigued, he's past it, he just had a 2 week holiday for the international break... if the club can't move on from Gerrard we are going nowhere...

He can't play a holding role, he has no pace to get back and should be starting on the bench.. was it not Gerrard who pretty much lost us the title last season with his slip and lack of pace to catch the lightning fast demba Ba..

As for the excuse "adapting to a league/ team" it's bull shit, 2 words, Diego Costa...maybe if we actually didn't waste 100m on average mid table players then you wouldn't even need to use that excuse...

Face it, we are a mess and Rodgers needs to sort it, never been convinced by him..

First of all I know we're not ' the best team on the planet ' .

Second I agree we paid too much for Lallana but that's always been the case for england internationals being sold between the Premier League clubs .

Third I think Lovren & Sakho have only played 2 or 3 times together and they need to get used to each other as does he team with each other .

As for Gerrard he seemed to play the holding role pretty well last season and nobody felt worse than him about the slip seeing as how wanted the title so badly .

And Brendan Rogers he's absolutely the right man to lead us , you weren't complaining when we were at the top last season and we're only 4 points worst off than at the same stage last season .

We were never going to win it this year anyway as Chelsea were always going to get stronger in the summer as they were only a few points off the pace last year because of silly loses against sides they should of beat , much like us so far this season .

Gerrard is still a fine player to have, I just don't think he's suited to the position he now plays. Rodgers needs to stick to a centre back pairing instead of changing them every other game, as individual players Lovren and Sakho aren't bad but as a pair they don't communicate and end up making silly mistakes.

Lambert is shit, Lallana is overrated as is Henderson-just hearing his name in a CL game makes me shudder.

Henderson should be starting before gerrard, he does a lot on the pitch and is everywhere... Lucas should be our holding midfielder or we should have spent the 20m we spent on lovren on one..

Yes he covers a lot of ground and "puts a shift in" but he doesn't have the passing or vision of Gerrard-who in return can't run. And yes Lucas should be the holding midfielder, he's too underrated and it annoys me.

He was realistically irreplaceable. Rodgers shouldn't take the rap for that, personally (unless you think he didn't do enough to try and persuade Suarez to stay at Liverpool for another season).

Look, we're only 5 games into the new season, I'm not trying to defend Rodgers or anyone, but we've got a lot of new faces who are still trying to find there feet. Also, lets not forget that our best striker is currently injured. If Sturridge was fit then I'm 100% sure we would've atleast won one of our last 2 PL games. Sterling and Sturridge know each others game so well, where as Sterling and Balotelli are still learning to play together.

As for our defence, it was shambolic last season and is still in tatters this season. Why we sold Agger i do not know.

yea, but cant understand why we didn't ask him to stay until atleast January, unless there were some personal reasons behind it
