I read that he's being considered as 'plan B' if the Balotelli doesn't happen. Whatever the situation, he's still a good player and has plenty of CL experience so no harm in signing him if its possible.

Glen Johnson is a waste of space! I wish we would get rid of him! Hopefully when Flanno is back fit he doesn't play again, he's clueless, almost every one of our attacking moves breaks down when it gets to him. Not only that but when there is a simple pass on he takes ages with the ball. then ends up doing his stupid turn and ends up going backwards or getting caught out of position..
