What do you think of Fellaini bytor? Personally I think that he is a very dirty player, he was lucky to be on the pitch today, he elbowed atleast 3 people and kneed 2 in the back..

I think if Moyes was still in charge and he'd picked the same team and played the same formation as LVG did against Swansea he would have got well and truly hammered by Man Utd fans and the media.

The difference is the Media are in love with Van Gaal. Especially Sky Sports Rolleyes I think Giggs should have been made manager, he is young, knows the league, has experience as a player in it since the beggining, is young and has been at the club all his life...

After the season finished, Giggs said he isn't experienced enough to manage at the moment. Being a player is one thing, being the manager is something else.

As much as I dislike the current formation, its better than anything under Moyes, everyone seems to understand their roles well and in the pre-season there was some delightful passing, don't remember seeing anything close under Moyes.

I think United should go back to 4-4-2 or try a 4-3-3.

van Gaal can't be lambasted because he lost his first game. The fact is the defence is poor and needs some quality and experience in there to mentor the younger players. Johnny Evans is at best a substitute and Jones is still developing and lacks judgement with his tackling. As for Fellaini; he was a panic buy last season and not the sort of player we need.
All this criticism is fair but in my eyes the real issue is at the very top of the club structure with both owners and a chief exec who fail to reassure. Its all well and good having billion pound deals in place and a global fanbase but tomorrows young fans will go elsewhere if we fail on the pitch over a few seasons. Steps need to be taken now to make sure we don't repeat last season but it is too early to panic after just one game.

Not sure it should be seen as failure but more a case of speculation in the press. Chelsea were also reportedly about to sign him yesterday lol.
We have been allegedly buying about 20 odd players ranging from Cavani through to Hummels this summer. I won't believe it until United confirm they have signed or failed to sign a player.

evra could be a big loss for utd, players like vidic, rio and evra may be veterans but they aren't any worse than the likes of evans, jones and smalling, you could do with another striker too as van persie might not stay fit, welbeck and hernandez are rubbish, maybe someone like remy as a squad player
