Thought was being overhyped a little such as this generations star wars would say its even better than star wars

Star wars is good but does lull on for a bit Preferred Empire Strikes back and Jedi better Guardians will have to be watched more than once to get all the jokes and other stuff

The Thing (1982) 10/10
Still one of the best ever horror/sci fi movies made. Atmospheric and timeless-this still looks as good today as it did 30 years ago. Based on the 1950's classic sci fi movie, The Thing from Another Planet.
John Carpenter before he lost the ability to make decent movies had the early to mid 80's in the bag. The Thing, The Fog, Big Trouble in Little China and Escape from New York.

As a Doctor I'm guessing that you have had a heavy knock to the head!

It took Starwars 4 movies to get an annoying character such as Jar Jar Binks in it. This one starts off with a talking bloody meercat come raccoon in it
Being serious I have heard many good things about it but I'll reserve judgement about it

The Karate Kid (1984)

The much imitated and parodied Miyagi 'Wax On - Wax Off' routine's first appearance. Elisabeth Shue was hot as fuck then and Kreese was a good psycho villain. The series went downhill rapidly after this original - but it was good to stroll down memory lane for a few hours while at a loose end. 3/5

Trust me Rocket is no Jar Jar binks

Guardians of The Galaxy, So far one of the films of the year this film had it all. Great acting, great special effects, the story was really good too and it was very funny, kinda reminded me of Star Wars had that feel to it couldn't fault this film at all 10/10.
