Just because we fell at the last hurdle doesn't mean anything for this season if anything it helps us see what it takes to win the title. I hope we'll win it but I know the teams around us have gotten better so it'll be harder but , even with the loss of Suarez , we now have a better squad than last season as we only had about 15 players to call on and now have enough players for two very competitive teams .

True mate, I hope you're right.

I'm still just frustrated and disappointed with how last season ended. It was still a great effort though.

There is a reason Lambert didn't make it at Liverpool the first time round, this is exactly why, he looks out of his depth, he's the slowest Liverpool player I have seen in years. No where near good enough, he looks done.

What like Gerrard You've got to remember that Lambert is coming off the longest season of his career at the age of 32 and if anything he's trying too hard and not of his depth as he has proved his quality at the premier league level .

season hasn't even started

I have watched him every pre season game he has played he has offered absolutely nothing Mr77, his strengths are supposed to be holding the ball up and getting into decent positions, he's done neither and goes against everything Rodgers theory is all about, exactly why we sold andy carroll. Lambert looks lost. And so what if he is 32, Surely we knew that before we signed him no? If he's not up to it then we shouldn't have signed him, over weight, too slow, no movement, can't seem to hold the ball up, bad touch.. Smalling had him in his back pocket all night last night..

And just because he is a Liverpool Fan and was born in Liverpool doesn't mean I have to let him off and have sympathy for him, fact is I don't rate him, and on the evidence so far I have seen of him while playing for us I won't be changing my opinion..

Borini offers a lot more than Lambert and Selling him to Sunderland and replacing him with Lambert is crazy..

People were slating Fred in the world cup for his perfromances and lack of movement, on this evidence Lambert is making Fred look like Thomas Muller..
