I for one was not expecting us to have a chance of winning the league until the last game and neither were most liverpool fans, it has been a great season and we did not "choke" it was unfortunate what happened, but all the top teams in the top 4 have had moments like this during the season...

It was a great season for liverpool and a lot better than we all expected, played the best football and are back in the champions league group stage and finishing 2nd behind City who have one of the best squads in the world.... if any team "choked" it was chelsea..

no thats false you did choke when it mattered cos it was in your own hands with a few games to go. you cant say to me liverpool players and liverpool fans are happy finishing 2nd when they had it in their own hands with a few games to go, what a load of bull! beginning of the season if you got told you would finish 2nd yes you would have accepted it of course you would but seeing liverpool scarfs saying champions and fans singing champions as the liverpool coach went to grounds with still a few games to go i think put pressure on liverpool players as they realised what a chance this was to win the title. why people are saying we r happy with finishing 2nd, then im sure in the dressing room after the games on sunday the liverpool players werent feeling happy with finishing 2nd. i doubt that very much!

^^^Let me guess an Arsenal Fan? oh what you'd give to finish 2nd If you call an unfortunate slip choking you need a re think... the goal was champions league football, we achieved a lot more than expected, and yes the players would be disapointed in not winning the league, but they will be extremely happy with qualifying for the GROUP stages of the CL, that was the objective..

what is it with you seriously? liverpool fucked up ok when it was in their OWN hands! thats what happened! if they would have won those last few games i think it was last 4 they would have won the league. why would an arsenal fan be happy with finishing 2nd? any1 in top 4 gets champions league, apart from they mite hav to play an extra few games to qualify so cant see much difference really! u get fuck all trophy's for finishing 2nd or 4th dont u?

erm, no.

Only problem in finishing 4th is that you're not guaranteed to qualify, Everton finished 4th once and lost to Villereal

Nah liverpool did not "fuck up" we finished 2nd and achieved our seasons goal which was to qualify for the CL....

Isn't wengers past 9 years based on "fucking up"?... tell me how many times have you been in the champions league and won it? how many times have you been in it and "fucked it" up? You also get "fuck all" trophies for getting into the CL and treating it like a joke
