Sony announced that plans are underway for The Equalizer 2 and the first film doesn't come out until september.

Some Ghostbusters 3 news the script is being re-written after the death of Harold Ramis, the original actors not including Bill Murray were due to make cameo roles with a new generation of ghostbusters filling there shoes. Karl Urban has said there have been talks about doing a sequel to the film Dredd and Director Marc Webb will be returning to direct The Amazing Spider-Man 3.

Variety are reporting that Actor Adam Driver has been cast as a unnamed villain in Star Wars: Episode VII.

Theres a rumour going around that there will be a new Matrix trilogy with it possibly being a prequel.

i think if it's done correctly this would be a great idea. the whole concept of the matrix leaves so many possibilities.

As long as its not as bad as the last one they made am totally up for it, i hope the architect from the second one doesn't start talking his bullshit again to this day i have idea what he was on about he just came across like a brain box Colonel Sanders without the chicken of course pmsl

This is a case where they should have left things alone after the first movie. At the time it was made as a one off movie. Only when it proved a major success did they decide to press ahead with the trilogy. A shame as the first is a classic but lost some of its shine due to the other two

Although Will Smith is not returning, Jeff Goldblum has been confirmed for Independence Day 2.
