Some very sad to report from yesterday that Shakhtar Donetsk striker Maicon Pereira de Oliveira died in a car crash in the Ukrainian city on Saturday, the club have announced.

Poor old Arsene had a Saturday to forget. Not content to suffer just from a bruised ego following yesterdays mauling, he apparently fell down some steps at Liverpool Lime Street on the way home. Don't believe all those scousers who tell you what a friendly city Liverpool is.

when i saw that pic yesterday i thought it was a fake, i wouldnt have put it on if it was real anyway, maybe if it was sum young fit person who fell yeah but not arsene, bless him! i hope arsenal win league this year i think its amazing how they r up there with the money clubs and liverpool lurking just behind as well, maybe an exciting end to the season coming up! wonder if man city fans still think there team can do the quadruple!
