Just a question - why 8 channels when they can't make 4 night shows interesting? Do we deserve to have double the amount of misery thrust upon us by this channel's poor night shows...?

The Studio beat the shit out their rivals last night on that front, especially noticeable with Jennifer Jade.

On Sky, 912 is good, 941 OK but 938 is still terrible.

One question. When they said 'takeover complete' did they mean that Studio 66 has taken over something, or that they've been taken over?

This was posted on the Digital Spy forum in the Sky and Satellite weekly news thread concerning news of Play TV 2 a apparent new STD 66 channel, i don't know how accurate the info is .

Really?

You should be looking for ways to enchance the day shows using the website/streams - not subjecting it to the same censorship as the TV.

Must have done. Was wondering when the 4 channels s66 had acquired fairly recently (935, 936, 940 and 942) would start showing s66 24/7 instead of showing it part time. Presume the other 3 channels will be starting being full time s66 channels soon

Great news that they now have five channels.

I'm putting my money on a +1 channel in the next few months. That should give forum members the chance to complain twice about the same show

The channels were acquired by Northern & Shell the company behind Ch 5/TVX/Red Hot, they are the ones who own the licence and are ultimately in control of services broadcast on these channels .

Like i said previously in this thread the channel will be called Play TV 2, it will just mean that STD 66 will probably go back to broadcasting 4 non specialist channels like they used to do before they lost one to the GG channel .
I wonder why the channel is called Play TV 2 ?, is there's going to be another eventual channel name re branding of the other STD 66 channels as well .
