Being a cynical old git - I suspect the answer is they don't want you know which girl is on when, they want you to sit there watching them all, on the off-chance you'll get bored / excited enough to call the girl on screen whether or not she was the reason you tuned in in the first place. Longer you watch, more chance you'll call ?

In my experience, the longer you wait on your favourite babe, the more chance you fall asleep, miss her and not call at all

Whereas, if you had a timetable you could set your alarm.....

I agree with you mate - I was just trying to guess what their reasoning for not doing it might possibly be - not necessarily agreeing with the twisted logic of it.

Maybe it's as simple as them wanting the flexibility to chop and change as they please and not have to stick to a timetable - pull a girl off quicker for her break if they don't think she's getting the calls and shove another one that's in the studio on instead - I've thought a few times some girls have got short shrift and looked a bit disgruntled as some other bird walks on set with the microphone - doesn't always look planned.

I agree and I've even seen one girl only last 15 minutes but she had no calls and was sharing the bed with a girl who was on the phone non stop. Tough world but they are selling a service and if no one is buying then it makes absolute sense to bring someone else on.

If they take a girl off screen, she's still going to be taking calls anyway. Maybe more so (?)

Why do you think that? If she's off screen she's on a break or on BS South Africa. If she is on the phone she's acting as a so called female caller but she's not taking calls from us.

The blurb at the bottom of the screen says 'we can't guarantee to connect you to the presenter on screen...you have the option of speaking to an offscreen 1-2-1 operator'.

Am no expert but I don't think it works like that - I've always assumed the offscreen operators are a totally different service, could be anybody , probably unknown free-lancers paid peanuts working from home ?.

Just guessing mind - never called an off-screen operator so got no earthly idea what I'm taking about really.

Ahh I see. Well the girls who get taken off early are not taking your calls. The offscreen 1-2-1 girls are never onscreen and it's quite possible that if you saw them you would never call! They are good on the phone though.
