they never realistically had a chance of winning the title, but although they are 9th they are only 4 points behind liverpool, sometimes people look too much at the league position and not the actual points tally, it is still very tight i don't think they will make the top 4, but who knows things could look a lot different after xmas

Getting 100m or so and spending it and having the same manager where as most the other title contenders have changed gave them a pretty realistic chance....

who gave spurs a chance of the winning the title? the majority thought it would be city or chelsea, now people think arsenal could win it, a few weeks ago people thought city were shit but now they look strong, people are fickle and things can change quickly in football, until a couple of weeks ago spurs had been very solid defensively and were in the top 4, but now after a couple of defeats you say they won't make europa league, if 6th place qualifies for europa league i fancy spurs to get a europa league spot like they usually do, if man utd or everton lose a couple of games in a row you will say they won't make europa league either

also you can't go around taking the piss out of spurs and england because you don't like it when people do the same about brazil and liverpool, this is a football banter thread fair enough take the piss but don't get upset if i or anyone else do it to you

Why don't you do as you say - don't get upset if people take the piss out of Spurs you need to seriously be a little less sarcastic and be a bit more humane.

i could bring up about 50 posts where you poke fun at england and some prem teams with the silly videos you post, but as you put up those silly smilies that is ok i suppose and you are only "joking" the thing is i don't get offended if you do that, my problem is when i or someone else does the same to you, you get upset and report us to the mods, plus im not surprised babelover is siding with you all he does is slag off england as well, do you live in england? are england not your second team? why do you enjoy laughing at us?

anyway i hardly heard anyone say spurs would be real title contenders perhaps i should go through this thread and see if anyone said they could win the league, i did say the media love spurs as they are an underdog so they probably thought they could be dark horses to win the league back in the summer, they have spent 100m but not all of them are proven players, i remember liverpool spending a lot of money a couple of years ago but they didn't get anywhere near the title did they
