video bam Issues

Well video bam seems to be having a funny five again! I can't see any of the videos across all threads, except for a black square and spiralling symbol. When i attempt to download after the 5 min wait, i get "404 not found" on screen.
Is anyone else having problems?

I've given up on video bam altogether. I don't bother with it any more cos it's a waste of time.

Apart from embedded video bam vids not playing for me, they also make some of the threads containing them very slow to load.
I have therefore added http://*video bam.com* as a filter in my adblock plus rules, and those threads load much quicker now.

I still think VB is the best system for posting videos here but it is so frustratingly unreliable.
Uploading usually works consistently, but playback/downloading can be a fuckin' nightmare.

Customer service & technical support is totally non-existent, you're more like to get an audience with God than any support from VB.

It's actually your ad blocking software that has been stopping you watching the videos. You posted before that all you could see was a black box with a spinning white circle, your software was blocking the add with the "click close to play" box. If you can see that box the videos will play.
I have a pro account that doesn't show the adds, I have to log out to make the adds visible before I can play the videos.

I disabled adblock plus.
That now lets me see the "click close to play" box.
When I click "Close to play", that box disappears and I am left with black screen and the circling pattern.
The Firefox status bar has the message "Transferring data from 2.lw6.video bam.com..." and thats all that happens.

I get exacltly as described above and it does not play.

^^ Have you tried using Google Chrome? This is what I see on my phones Chrome app.

Something very strange with this system, uploading seems OK, downloading seems OK for most, but not all videos.

The odd thing is that playback is possible on a small number of videos that were processed in HD format, by cancelling the HD "popup".

Does seem to be unreliable at the moment : it was working fine for me on Wednesday, but is not playing back any of the ones I've uploaded today, or even my own older videos. Maybe it's overloaded or something .
