After Earth 4/10 - where do i begin! awful film, poor acting, poor plot and no real excitement.

Captain Phillips

A gripping rendition of the 2009 Somali-Hijacking of the US Maersk-Alabama cargo ship. Taut, tense, and claustrophobic, Tom Hanks gives a superb performance as Captain Richard Phillips, as does Barkad Abdi as the pirate leader Muse. A very good entertaining way to pass a couple of hours, its well worth watching. 8.5/10

John Carter, really enjoyed the film and for me was no way as bad as it was made out to be 7.9/10.

Ironman 3 8/10. On a repeat viewing noticed a lot more in it.
