So why didn't the likes of Bangbabes or Sportxxx survive. Perhaps surviving in the babeshow business is a little more complex than your simplistic business model of having a few women around.

But any Tom, Dick or Harry can't get a license. Why not? Surely it should be nothing special. And to go even further BS had acquired Dutch licenses giving them an advantage. Over less 'know how' channels

Most will acknowledge that they do have an audience to satisfy as well as those on the phone, because many of the audience - on other occasions - are their callers who benefit them.
Viewers? Audience? You make it sound like the babeshows are normal TV productions chasing ratings & Emmys. It's primarily all about cash extraction from callers & texters. You'd be naive to think it's about anything else.
There is only one reason why the likes of Bang Babes and Sportxxx did not survive: they deliberately pushed the boundaries of Ofcom in the attempt to satisfy the viewers. Babestation have no such agenda as 'satisfying the viewers', therefore they are never ever likely to transgress Ofcom.
You seem to be missing the point about licenses: the point is that once granted - to whoever has applied - then the availablilty of the women at their disposal will make them money. Their survival will then depend, not upon the quality of their shows, but their compliance with Ofcom.
Yes, it is all about money. But it is also about the satisfaction of those willing to depart with their money. So far, the phonelines alone would suggest that there is satisfaction. But I propose that there is much underlying loathing by the viewers.

Bang Babes didn't survive because they went bust, the company behind Sport xxx still owns channels and Ofcom licences (some how) and 2 BS channels on freeview and 1 one sky is not regulated by Ofcom , Nicam regulate these channels and they are out of Ofcom's jurisdiction .

Some former channels that no longer broadcast either went bust or sold out to other company's with no interference from Ofcom, others were shut down by Ofcom, but not for pushing boundaries, they were shut down for breaching various licence conditions that had nothing to do with on screen content, Bang Babes had their own licence revoked by Ofcom for numerous screen content issues, but they carried on broadcasting on Playboy channels using the Playboy licence, but the company was in money trouble and eventually folded and went bust, apparently they couldn't pay their fine .
The Ofcom regulated BS channels have in the past been fined heavily by the way .
