Another good entertaining movie from JJ Abrams. Cast are all good and are making the characters their own. Only slight niggle for me is Karl Urban hamming it up as Doctor McCoy-at times he borders on a parody of the original. Great film though.

quinto has spock is great casting has he does look like spock. mccoy aka bones is meant to abit ott, even in the tv series he was like that.

this film has put the new altered series into place where they can do their own stuff, jj abrams wanted to pay homage to wrath of khan (one of the best star trek films (first contact is one of my favourite next gen films).

Evil Dead (2013 remake) 9/10, one fo the best horror films i have seen since 2004 when saw was released (i know there were some good ones released before then but saw was the last decent horror film i saw) has nothing was no major use of cgi, only touch ups and everything is shot in camera including the tree rape scene from the original film, all vomiting stuff etc. this film has a feel being an original sequal to the series also being a remake at the same time. i cannot wait for the sequal to this remake and the sequal to evil dead 3: army of darkness.

Karl Urban's performance ott...I would agree. However, it does not stop me from finding that it annoys me slightly in an otherwise great movie. That's just my opinion of course. Everyone else is welcome to theirs too.

Riddick 8/10 after the overblown mess that was Chronicles of riddick, this is a much better follow up that has far more in common with the excellent Pitch Black.

Elysium 7/10 decent sci fi action movie, from the man who brought you District 9.

Bullet To The Head 8.5/10.

Pain and Gain 1/10 a truly awful film about horrible people doing horrible things to other horrible people, when the main protagonists of the film are so unlikeable then it has real problems. Based on a true story this was supposed to be an action comedy but it was really unfunny.

hansel and gretal witch hunters. 10/10 the cgi was great, the make up of the witches fantastic, the acting great etc. a twist on the story also a sequal to the original story. i cannot wait for the sequal to come out, due to its success outside the states. there is an extended version of the film with more gore, sex, voilence. gemma arterton looks great in leather trousers.
