The truth seems to be the complete opposite of what you say. Arsenal have been under the impression that any bid over £40m and Suarez would be theirs for certain, hence their bid of £40,000,001. It's only 4 days ago that the PFA stated that Suarez and Arsenal were wrong and Liverpool were not obliged to sell at that price.

Calm down Fernandez, everyone knows the higuain story Real Madrid moved the goal posts and changed the asking price to 35m when we agreed a 23m deal plus higuain agreeing to come, sczesny is still number one.

Wenger should have moved very early in the window but least he still trying and he is aware the squad is thin, no guarantee that aspas and that Sevilla guy will fire u guys up the league so hold your horses

Oh yeah as the guy above showed look up stats before you say the defence is shocking, mertesacker may be vulnerable to speedy players but him and koscielny were the best partnership last season

He can apologise with goals. That'll do for me.

It's not hard to work out Liverpool would sell Suarez for 50m to any European team but not to an English team competing for the same places, Not every manager is as naieve as Wenger selling their star player to a Rival and basically give that team the title.

Heard an interview today wenger say he thinks without any new players he believes they can win the league this season and would be happy if no more players come in as the market is tough...

So to me sounds like he is making excuses not to spend anything again, if he honestly thinks they can Win the title with that squad he needs to think again.

There is no number 1 keeper, they had a world class striker in RVP who they still havent replace, all the other teams competing for the title and CL, city for example have spend over 100m, spurs 50m, Chelsea have spend money, all Arsenal have done is bring in someone frome Ligue2 on a free...

What happen to the millions Wenger has to spend?...

Fernandez Think you missed some of what wenger said after the man city game where he goes he wants the team to play 55 games or so but knows it ain't possible as the squad is thin. Dunno bout his 17m price tag but gustavo might be a good signing

This was not an interview from Man City game though... And Juventus were willing to buy RVP but you still sell to United...Also if Wenger was smart he would not let players run the contract down to last year.
