Transfers in summer window 2013

Clint Demsey has moved back to the States to play for Seattle Sounders.
The fee was undisclosed.

Up to now I have to say that the summer transfer window has been pretty underwhelming. Most of the big names mentioned in the press have turned down moves to the EPL in favour of playing abroad. It seems to have been more about two or three players trying to engineer big money moves for themselves and their over-hyped talent. Hoping it picks up soon and we see some exciting transfers before deadline day...be nice if the oft forgotten fans had something to cheer about amongst all the madness!

The papers are suggesting that Stewart Downing may be moving to Newcastle...

I don't know which fans will be the most upset.
The Newcastle fans for spending 5 million on Downing or the Liverpool guys for losing 15 millions on him.

Rooney has apparently told Moyes he wants to leave United and is expected to put it in writing later this week......He is just waiting to get the crayons and a basic spelling book off Colleen.

In another long running saga, Bales image has been removed from the official Spurs twitter page. Make of that, what you will.

True, but still doesn't improve the Newcastle team.

I would much rather we bought Ince or Sinclair.

To improve the Newcastle team sinclair would be good, why are you only buy french players?...

arsenal still have to qualify for the champions league it would be funny if suarez signed for them then they went out, plus it is daft if liverpool sell to one of their rivals for 4th place, they are better off selling to man utd, city or chelsea as liverpool aren't good enough to challenge them for the title anyway, will madrid want to bid for suarez after probably getting bale? so where does suarez go? bayern perhaps

Anybody fancy any Anzhi players for their club this summer? The Anzhi owner has had enough of the team under performing and sacked the manager AND put the whole first team squad of players up for sale, including Eto, Willian, Zhirkov and a lot of russian players who i have no idea who they are or if they are any good. Could be a bargain or two though, perhaps?

Willian looks the obvious name everybody will want. Spurs will have the Bale money soon, Liverpool could have Suarez money soon and Man utd have their transfer budget untouched as yet, as do Arsenal. Could be interesting!
