The Tahitian star would like to play abroad, he said: "I will be pleased to play abroad, if I have the chance one day. I dreamed of playing as a pro and in a big tournament."

I doubt his exclusion will make a big difference in the result. It would be a major upset for this Italian team to beat Spain, with or without him.

Balotelli has proven his worth at international level, more than once. Perhaps you think the possible return of Pirlo is also irrelevant to Italy's chances?
