Surely scouts are supposed to look for emerging talent? Do they really give advice to Rodgers on a 32 year old that's played 15 matches this season? Can't Rodgers just watch some of this season's matches back on video and make his own mind up!

Of course they look for emerging talent but Sayers and Hunt both worked at Man City while Toure was there. They've probably let Rodgers know he's got plenty left in him and he's going on a free.

Rodgers must like the idea.

One of the best players I've ever seen in the flesh mate. Unbelievable player. He'll win every award going next season if he keeps it up.
