I can appreciate Liverpool fans supporting Suarez as there must be a fear that any more attention and he might be off. However, it is doing the club or their fans no favours at all to make it look like the guy is being persecuted. He has done some stupid and unacceptable things for which he has been punished. Biting someone is simply not acceptable behaviour in society. It is an animal instinct; the act of a petulant child. 10 games is a heavy ban but hopefully it will make him realise he has to cut out the bad side of his game.
He is undoubtedly a world class talent and it would be a shame once his playing days are over for his reputation to be tarnished by such unnecessary behaviour. Liverpool have a real gem in him. Support him? Yes, but do so in a way to nurture and develop him to his full potential.

Let's be honest, If Suarez wasn't playing for Liverpool, Liverpool fans would dislike Suarez just as much as most other football fans. There's a thread on rawk back in 2010 when Suarez handballed against Ghana at the world cup, where Liverpool fans are giving out all sorts of abuse but he wasn't a Liverpool player back then. Now he plays for Liverpool, the guy can do nothing wrong.
