10 games is harsh but whether some people think its fair or not does not really matter. It's the punishment meted out by the football authorities. Suarez and the club have to accept it. Perhaps such a stiff punishment might make him realise in the future that his actions have an impact on the whole of his club and might make him think twice. A very talented player, hopefully this will help him mature a little. Hopefully the incident can be put to bed now so the world can move on.
It's also pointless comparing against other punitive bans that have taken place previously. Any allegation of racism should certainly be investigated, but should it be the FA? Racism goes far beyond the boundaries of football so perhaps a police enquiry is more appropriate. John Terry, for instance went through the court process over his incident. As for career ending tackles, well you need to determine if there was intent to harm. Many bad tackles are mistimed or over exuberant but seldom is there a desire to break someone's legs. If ever this was proven then a life ban for the offender would not be too harsh

didn't realise till sky just said dicanio got 11 matches for pushing that ref over .that was funny especially winterburn when he went towards him then moved his head back when he swung for him

Looked up as to why Defoe in 2006 escaped a ban after he bite Javier Mascherano at the time the FA couldn't do anything more as the ref dealt with the matter with a booking since then the rules have changed meaning that even if a player bites someone and then booked for the offence the FA now have the power to punish a player further more even if the ref has booked the player.

Now that Suarez has got a 10 game ban, and reports suggesting that he is ready to quit Liverpool I wonder who would be remotely interested in him, and whether any significant value has been wiped off his price tag after what he has done?

If he leaves then well done to your media for driving out one of the best players in the world from the premier league, he has been treated disgustingly from day 1 almost.

chelsea lookin good to get to the final of the europa league and if they do and go on to win it then they will join an elite group of teams who have won the old cup winners cup and the European cup as well!

David Cameron has been defending his Suarez comments saying that he felt compelled to say something because of the shocking example Suarez had set to Dave's 7 year old son.

Shame he didn't give that much of a shit when he left his own daughter in a pub last year.
