Great to see Benitez finally stick it to the fans and board of Chelsea. (I'm a Liverpool fan) and i just want to say that this guy has made his legendary status with Liverpool even higher after tonight, the guy came out with some great stuff!!!!

i read somewhere chelsea were 4 points off the top of the league when he took over, not sure how many points now cos not looked at table! i will hav a look later!

Agree, fair play to rafa standing up to the ridiculous chelsea "fans" and the clown abramovic, will always respect rafa, like him or not he speaks the truth and doesn't worry about upsetting people... He's not a bad manager at all, he's proved that he's one of the best, chelsea need to realise the board and players are to blame, they drove avb out who is also a very good manager and are now doing the same to benitez, the board and players all think they are bigger than the club.... The same happened to him at inter when he took over a team full of ego's put together by mourinho for one purpose that was short term to win the champions league, once this was achieved and mourinho left the players were all coming to the end of their time there anyway, some even the end of their career, weren't interested in what benitez had to say as they had already won everything previosly..

the main thing rafa said was his defo going at end of season but chelsea fans somehow can't process that info in their head. Everyone knew when rafa first took over that contract was short term but fans choose to overlook that.

Really don't understand chelsea by the sound of things he knows the fans don't like him and he wants the fans to back the team, i don't blame him for getting upset over the fans as his had that in face since the day he took over. The chelsea fans should really be having at the Chelsea board for the way they've treated the managers even when they have done well at the club.

sounds like rafa wants 2 get sack before end of season by having this rant! suppose he can say then he got sack for having this rant and it was nothing to do with his low win percentage record and his shite tactics! the carling cup semi final 2nd leg substitutions spring to mind.

I think he knows he's got the real madrid job in the bag already,thats why he's come out and said what he has, everything he has said though is right and nobody can argue with that.. Still one of the best managers in the game if he finds himself another club like liverpool or valencia... If chelsea carry on as they are no manager will want to go anywhere near that club... if abramovich and john terry think they can manage the club better maybe they should...
