I didn't watch the match, but reading various match reports, we were worth a point for our performance.

As soon as I heard the team line ups with Giggs and Scholes in their midfield, I knew there was hope, as our midfield has more than Man United's midfield.

I'm not sure do we take confidence from this inspiring looking performance and carry it on against Arsenal or will the players confidence be shattered after letting in a last minute goal. I hope they take confidence from it, but I hold my breath, as Arsenal is a completely different game and they will be well rested for the game.

The only downside is Anita could out for a while, as I think Valencia broke his ankle. I wonder will Fergie accuse Valencia of attempted murder. Its a shame to lose Anita, as he has been one of our best players for the last few weeks.

Its great to see Cisse also score a goal that will do his confidence a world of good.

I can't wait for the January transfer window though, we need it just as much as Liverpool or QPR do.

Also pray for Van Persie for making a miraculous recovery from that horrific injury at Swansea. Such a brave soldierBounce
i back em all time dan with that goals galore cos teams can get at em. now u sed giggs and scholes were playin as well they aint got the legs like wot they used to have! u must hav had a gud go at em to score 3 at old trafford and take the leaad 3 times!i wud take that as a step in the rite direction!

Got this off the BBC Sport website:

"Sean O'Driscoll is dismissed as Nottingham Forest manager after five months in charge of the Championship club"

Not a Forest fan here at all, I'm a Leeds United fan, the team Forest beat 4-2 today this lunchtime. A win that take Forest a point above us in the N-Power Championship table. Now, I would understand this decision if Forest were strugglin or in or about the relegation zone, but this move by the Forest chairman has left me scratchin my head in surprise for two things:

1. As mentioned, Forest beat Leeds 4-2 this lunchtime, they didn't lose or draw the match.
2. The win over Leeds, see them overtake the Whites in 7th place in the table meanin that if Forest beat Crystal Palace at the City Ground next Sat they be 4th in the table.
3. They are only 3 points away from the play-off zone.

MK11 aka Mortal Kombat 11 - Spawn (DLC) vs Shao Kahn intro:
Spawn: Imagine Outworld free of slaves.
Shao Kahn: Over my dead body.
Spawn: Today's the day, skull-fucker.

Apparently it's now in the rules Alex Ferguson is allowed to follow the linesman up and down the touchline during a game... I thought managers had to stay in the technical area..

Hate when utd always do that, Newcastle defo should have got a point but its hard with cabaye and Ben arfa especially missing, seriously if Ashley don't give funds for atleast 3 signings then there is something wrong with the guy, that 35 mill Carroll money wasn't even spent for unknown reasons

Equally surprised to see Saurez didn't pick up his yellow card for diving.

The sacking of O'Driscoll is a disgrace. Foreign owners using football clubs as toys. When I read stories like these I want the club to fail.

Exactly. And another example of know-nothing foreigners can be found at Cardiff City. The Malaysians (?) came in and changed the club kit from blue to red just like that. And why? Because red is supposedly "lucky" in their country. Morons. I was even more pissed off than normal when those tossers beat us yesterday annoyed The owners don't deserve promotion, but it looks like they're going to get it.
